4 Time NAACP Award-Winning Stage Play
"Da Kink In My Hair" came to Atlanta's Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center Stage with Angie Stone, Melanie Fiona, Terri Vaughn and More. One of the things I enjoy most about being a woman is being able to gather with some of my sister friends and enjoy a night out. This play was perfect for the night. Thanks to Oh! Nikka and her ticket give away, I won two tickets for this past Friday night show. A Friday night well spent!

A play based in a hair salon in Toronto with a caribbean owner who gives a voice to eight women who tell their unforgettable stories. It offers insight into the root of a women's hair. "If you want to know a black woman, you touch her hair" says the owner. I was touched by each woman's story. The play is a monologue of each woman with the perfect outer appearance but inside they were in pain or have gone through something in life. We've all had those moments. I give the writing, acting, directing a five out of five stars! Hopefully, this play can make it to stages all over the world!
