Goodwill shows there's more than just discounts supporting the company mission
I had the privilege of meeting with the marketing team at Goodwill and touring their facility at their Decatur, Georgia location with my thrift sisters! For many people, when we think about Goodwill we most likely think of just a thrift store but Goodwill means so much more! I got a chance to tour the facility and saw so much good being done by Goodwill!
Every day, thousands of men and women face barriers that make it difficult for them to find work and earn a paycheck to support their families. Sometimes it’s lack of training or education, limited job skills, or a disability. Goodwill gives people the tools they need to find a job which allows them to support themselves and their families.
Donations and shopping at Goodwill helps! They have career centers throughout North Georgia, Goodwill offers job-search resources, helps with writing a professional résumé and cover letter, provides access to employment opportunities, delivers hands-on skill training, and so much more.
