Vintage and Thrift- In Living Color Smyrna Thrift

You have to boogie when you're in the 80's mood! Girls just wanna have fun in vintage! Atlanta weather has been a little wet lately. I decided to spice up the mood with this colorful Liz Claiborne sport dress.  Liz Caiborne is actually one of my favorite brands to thrift.  The quality of the material and fit is always perfect on me.

Funky Flair Summer Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit comfort from Funky Flair Boutique.  I like to be and feel comfortable in my clothes.  I couldn't decide on whether or not to wear this jumpsuit with or without a belt.  The majority of my Instagram and Facebook family said go with the belt.  I love to show my curves.  I love every inch of my curves and I totally do embrace them but this particular evening, I wanted comfort.  I went without the belt.  Besides, I think the jumpsuit has more of a fashionable different look without the belt.  It looks more high fashion and unexpected.  I had a blast dancing and celebrating in my jumpsuit. The compliments I received let me know there will be a sweet repeat! 

Vintage and Thrift - Chaus Summer Floral and Christian Dior

A friend of mine told me she's interested in thrifting but doesn't think "thrift" will be a good route to take when working in a corporate/office environment.   I work in the legal field in an office environment and 80% of my office attire is thrifted.  Thrift fits all areas of life.  It all depends on your own personal style.  I wear thrifted attire from the courthouse, ballroom, night club to the beach!  It's all up to you!  

Vintage and Thrift: Vintage Green by TChoup Vintage

March is women's history month.  The joy of being a woman.  I love looking and feeling like a lady, especially in vintage dresses.   I hosted the Operation Prom Atlanta dress giveaway this weekend and wore this vintage mint green dress from TChoup Vintage.

I've known Lesly owner of TChoup Vintage for two years now and it's always a pleasure to go through her racks of vintage goodies.  I bump into her at almost every vintage pop up shop events.  If you see her logo (see below), stop by and say hello!

Happy November again! It's Tuesday, November 4, 2014. The big day to get out and vote! Just wanted to started out with that friendly reminder.

It's a little nippy in Atlanta, Georgia but I'm not complaining at all. I prefer cooler weather temperatures. I know, it's uncommon coming from a girl from the Caribbean but change of season is always good. I look at it as an opportunity for growth and new beginnings.

The Revival Vintage Market Place Experience September 27

When there's a vintage market place event, I'm so there!  A friend of mine referred this event to me and thought I would love it. He was right! I had a blast.  There's something about a vintage inspired market place event that brings the school girl in me.  Attending these events makes me feel like a kid in a candy store. Vintage everywhere.  I recommend these events even if you're not a fan of vintage.  It's always great to experience something new. I can't wait for the next The Rival
