Vintage and Thrift: Where I shopped the most in 2014

Well 2014 is coming to an end.  I am proud to say that I have no regrets. It was a fabulous year. 2015 will be a blast because I am taking all that I learned in 2014 into 2015.

Fashion, thrifting and vintage! Treasure hunting.  I enjoy it.  It's my hobby and it adds extra excitement to my day.  Check out some of my favorites in 2014.

Vintage and Thrift: Velvet and Fur Holiday Style

Merry Christmas! Wishing you a joyous day with your family and friends.  As I get older, I really don't ask for much when it comes to gifts.  I just want time with my family and friends. That's the best gift and its priceless. Love Live and Laugh!

Winter, Holidays, Fur, Sequins and..... Velvet.   Velvet is another favorite to wear during the cold holiday season.  Velvet is a vintage fabric that is easy to create lots of different looks with. While a velvet dress is an obvious choice for formal wear, it also works well as a casual look.   Check out how I wore this thrifted velvet dress.

Vintage and Thrift: leather and sequins

About last night! My girlfriend invited me to the Music Motown Gospel Concert at Impact Church and I'm glad I accepted the invitation. It was a full house and an evening well spent!  The room was blessed with talented gospel artists such as Tasha Cobbs, Vashawn Mitchell, Mica Stampley and many more.  Of course, I blessed the room in my thrifted fit.  I went with sequins, leather and fur.  Check it out!

A vintage dress always has me at hello.  Vintage style is so classic and will never go out of style. I enjoy the art of vintage.  I enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in my little vintage dress.

Vintage And Thrift: A Fan of Fann's Closet

We are getting closer to the holidays. Knowing my anniversary, Christmas and the New Year is around the corner has me super excited. I haven't been shopping for myself the past couple of weeks. I'm focusing on staying on budget with my holiday shopping.  Could you believe I have not hit a thrift store in two weeks?! Yep, I'm taking a thrift store break to focus on shopping for my love ones. Although I am not shopping for myself at this moment, I am still supporting my  local small business owners.  The PopUp Marche' had an event this weekend at Atlantic Station and my buddy Andrea  owner of Fann's Closet a mobile vintage boutique in Atlanta was in the building.  Here are some of my favorite pics from Fann's Closet.
Can you guess which of these were gifted to me!

This picture doesn't do this dress much justice.  It's a gorgeous open back and perfect for the holidays.

Sequins continuously calls my name.  She is gorgeous and is screaming take me home.

I left these beauties behind...... Now they are haunting me.

ICE Atlanta Holiday Shopping Extravaganza (RECAP)

My second favorite thing to do is support small businesses and artists.  ICE (Indie Craft Experience) Atlanta held their holiday extravaganza on November 22 and November 23. Both dates were filled with people.  I enjoy seeing different talent, vintage fashion and art.  You will be amazed as to how many great ideas the people in the world have to offer. That's why I support events involving vintage, art and crafty market place.  If you missed it, you missed a great time.   The great news is that ICE Atlanta is always hosting a great event.  Everyone should experience the Indie Craft Experience.

Visit ICE Atlanta's Website at: www.ice-atlanta.com
Beautiful set up by 2Queens Vintage
How inviting is this set up by 2Queens Vintage?!
I enjoy the uniqueness of each vendor.  This event was not filled with clothing vendors. It was a room filled with ART!
Happy shoppers

I purchased a clay mask for my oily skin. I am now a fan!
These are just few pictures taken with my camera.  This event was a great success! There was a  long line outside to get in but it is well worth it. Attending these events is not just a shopping experience it's an Indie Craft Experience.

Thanks for Stopping By!

Hope  to see you at the Pop Up Marche' on December 13.  Details coming soon!
