Wearing Vintage in a Modern World
1. Pick garments that look like current trends. Fashion goes in full circle. Fashion today is just a reinterpretation of styles from the past. The base of today's trends stems from styles as far back as the 1800's. As time changes, a touch of more modern effect is given to the garments worn today. Majority of designers today use vintage clothing as their inspiration.

Smyna Thrift + America's Thrift +Alexis Suitcase: Christmas in July Nautical Inspired
My husband said this look reminds him of Christmas. July does feel like Christmas. July is my birthday month along with so many others. Every weekend this entire month, I have attended a birthday celebration. July is truly an amazing month and it is truly a gift to celebrate so many birthdays in one month. The month is not over yet, but I must say it was great!

Vintage and Thrift: Pink And Vintage Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day weekend. My family always make me feel special and appreciate. What I love the most, is that the feeling is not just on Mother's Day. They make me feel this way 365 days a year.

JEWELS REVIEW: EA Vintage By Erica Ashley
It was such a pleasure to meet Erica Ashley, the proprietor of EA Vintage in San Diego, California. Erica is a vintage expert at styling you with beautiful vintage fashions. She believes that anyone can be taught how to wear vintage and train themselves on how to not look like they stepped out of that era. Her collection of beautiful clothing, handbags, shoes, jewelry and accessories will definitely satisfy your vintage thirst.
EA Vintage is an online store on Etsy as www.etsy.com/shop/EAvintage or by appointment by emailing Erica at Erica@eavintage.com is of course unique and the cream of the crop merchandise at all price points.

Vintage and Thrift: Plaid and Stripes
We're gearing up and heading into the second week of February also known as "the love month". This year is going to fly by us. The days, weeks, months are going by too quickly. Oh well, I can only make the best of each day, smile, thrift and save!
I'm still shopping my closet and continuing to challenging myself to be creative with the clothing in my closets that I haven't worn in a while or I've thrifted and haven't worn yet. This blouse is a sweet repeat. It's one of my very first purchases from House of uBuhle, an online resale vintage store almost two years ago. I have styled this blouse to the office and to church in so many ways. It's versatile, comfortable and sexy at the same time.

I found this lovely Pendleton tartan plaid 70's vintage skirt from Smyrna Thrift Store in Smyrna, GA. I believe this cost me less than $5.00 and the tag was still on it for $110.00 |

Vintage and Thrift: Black Bow and Vintage
A vintage dress always has me at hello. Vintage style is so classic and will never go out of style. I enjoy the art of vintage. I enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in my little vintage dress.

ICE Atlanta Holiday Shopping Extravaganza (RECAP)
My second favorite thing to do is support small businesses and artists. ICE (Indie Craft Experience) Atlanta held their holiday extravaganza on November 22 and November 23. Both dates were filled with people. I enjoy seeing different talent, vintage fashion and art. You will be amazed as to how many great ideas the people in the world have to offer. That's why I support events involving vintage, art and crafty market place. If you missed it, you missed a great time. The great news is that ICE Atlanta is always hosting a great event. Everyone should experience the Indie Craft Experience.

These are just few pictures taken with my camera. This event was a great success! There was a long line outside to get in but it is well worth it. Attending these events is not just a shopping experience it's an Indie Craft Experience.
